Preventing and Curing Bacterial Vaginosis
Bacterial vaginosis is a bacterial infection of the vagina. The symptoms of this infection are the presence of the discharge and odor. It is caused by disruption from the regular bacterial flora in the vagina.
Bacterial vaginosis might not require treatment in all cases. Pregnant ladies ought to usually be given treatment for bacterial vaginosis, however, since it can lead to certain complications for pregnant women, including infection of the womb and pelvis.
There have been suggestions that eating a periodic or reside yogurt could assist to treat bacterial vaginosis, but there is no reliable scientific evidence to support this belief.
If treatment is necessary, it will be given in the form of a course of antibiotics. This will usually be a week long course of oral metronidazole, although other antibiotic treatments may be offered instead. A vaginal antibiotic cream may be prescribed instead of tablets, for example. It is important to finish the whole course of antibiotics, and to take every dose, since non-compliance could reduce the efficacy of the antibiotics. It could also increase the chances of the condition reoccurring, although even if the instructions are followed exactly and every does of antibiotics is taken, bacterial vaginosis is a condition with a high likelihood of returning. Approximately one third of women who have had bacterial vaginosis experience a recurrence within just three months.
You will find a number of ways in which the probabilities of the recurrence of bacterial vaginosis can be reduced. Even though there is generally no definite and obvious cause of the situation, it arises as the result of a disruption to the environment from the vagina and the bacterial flora that reside there. This means that the best way to prevent a return of the situation would be to avoid activities that could trigger such a disruption.
A mild detergent should be used to wash the underwear. Strong chemicals could upset the balance of bacteria in the vagina. Similarly, the chemicals that are used in bath water and to wash the vagina should be as mild as possible. This includes any chemical that is used in the bath, such as soap, bubble bath or shampoo. The vagina itself should not be washed too often. It is enough to clean the area once a day. Douching, or pushing water into the vagina, should be avoided completely.

size : 150 ml.
How to use : Pour a small amount on the palm of your hand. And to wash the penis.
Ingredient : LACTOSERUM, LACTIC ACID, TRIETHANOLAMINE AMMONIUM ALKYLSULFATE
Using feminine wash is a part of my hygienic routine and for me it is a necessity. Among other brands, I only trust Lactacyd Feminine Wash. I have been using this since my teenage years. Though there were times that I switched to other brands, still I keep on coming back to Lactacyd. Lactacyd is so incomparable when it comes to gentleness and mildness. In most cases, for a woman like me who gave birth twice, infection and irritation in delicate private area is a common problem. So before it attacks me, I always protect myself with Lactacyd. I used it once and sometimes twice daily. Small amount is enough to cleanse and after rinsing, I instantly feel refresh. It truly gives me confidence that behind it, I smell fresh, feel fresh and I am sure that the private part of me is germ and bacteria free. Mostly, during and after having period, it feels itchy. I know this kind of problem is somewhat normal. But when I use Lactacyd, it takes away itchiness and I feel relieve already.
Unlike other brands I have tried which are only good at first but the itchiness still coming back. Lactacyd has a very mild scent that according to its description it is extracted from milk that is why no wondering about its mildness. Perhaps some may not used to its smell but for me, I like the way it smells, it is exactly the same as the Lactacyd (blue) Liquid Antiseptic Baby Bath which I use also to treat some of my skin disorder. I have a gynecologist friend and she recommends this product as a good daily use feminine wash.
If I have one thing not like about this product is its watery or liquid base. I think I lose some amount if I am not able to apply it immediately after pouring. It often slips to my hands so sometimes I waste some amount. But on the other hand, I found the liquid base more useful because it is easy to rinse and I think it is easy to absorb by the skin. and excellent quality of feminine wash. I definitely recommend this to all women to try. This is a must have and the best buy.
